Second version of Salomon's incredibly lightweight trail shoe with a tenacious grip and perfect fit designed specifically for mud and snow conditions.
Weighing in at 10.2 ounces ( 290 grams, size 9 ) the Speedcross is one of the lightest weight trail running shoes on the market. The shoe's feather construction creates a minimalistic shoe without scrapping the essentials. Salomon's Speedcross 2 uses a Winter Contragrip outsole that can be used from running on packed snow to blazing up dirt trails.
- Winter Contragrip outsole and tread creates for an extra sticky and rugged sole that provides enough traction on snow and mud thanks to the different rubber compound and deeper lug geometry
- Dual density EVA midsole provides cushion and comfort while not adding the extra shoe weight commonly seen on more rugged chassis constructions
